Het lijkt alsof deze vlieger vertikaal geland is. geen sprietje beschadigd en geen spoor te bekennen..

A glider pilot had to make an emergency landing in a grain field near Market Harborough this afternoon.

The man, who was uninjured, got into difficulties after taking off from the gliding centre at Husbands Bosworth a few miles away.

A witness said: "The chap was from Scotland and was visiting the area. The glider flew low over Market Harborough Golf Club and two men rushed over to see if he was okay."

Pilot Peter Metcalfe from East Lothian said: "There is a group of 14 of us at Husbands Bosworth. I had set off to Grafham Water but ran out of lift on the way back to Husbands Bosworth.
