Fatal accident

We are sad to have to announce that we had a fatal accident this afternoon. Alexander Martynov from Russian Federation, a pilot in the Standard Class, crashed in his glider about one hour after the opening of the start line 20 km north east from Prievidza. The Accident and Incident Investigation Department of the Ministry of Transportation and Communication of the Slovak Republic is currently investigating.

The Standard Class task for the day was cancelled.

We will provide more information as soon as we will know more about the circumstances.
